Green Star AP Programme for New Buildings

About the programme.

This 3-part programme provides an overview and understanding of all 4 of the Green Star rating tools for new buildings and major refurbishments. We cover base credits for our Office, Multi-unit Residential, Public & Education Buildings tools as well as our Retail tool. These design and as-built tools allow for the objective measurement and rating of the environmental performance of the design and construction of projects.

The face to face workshop offers the participant the opportunity to experience the tools in action while the online course dives into more technical detail around the tools. After attending both these parts participants then complete the online exam in order to obtain a AP New Buildings Accreditation.

The 3 Part Format

This full day workshop aims to benefit participants with the practical application of our Green Star rating tools for new buildings.

The online component of this course focuses on the more technical details of the tool. You can complete the course in your own time during a pre-determined two week period with a facilitator being available for questions.

To qualify to write the exam, one needs to have completed both the online course and the workshop (in no specific order). This exam is open book and 2hours long. One needs 75% in order to pass. Access to exams is via your GBCSA user dashboard.
